It's been fantastic to see so much Tree and hedge planting going on within our communities over the last few months, and the fact that people are now taking climate change much more seriously is heart-warming.
Shropshire Council pledged back in 2019 to plant one tree for everyone living in Shropshire by 2050 that is over 345,000 trees, but things having been going so well with uptake and external funding from DEFRA that the Council has now revised that pledge to plant a tree for everyone living in Shropshire by 2030 some 20 years earlier.
