Conservatives on Oswestry Town Council are currently conducting a survey to get feedback on the recent decision by the Green Party-led Council to raise parking charges in the town.
Conservative Councillors said:
"We feel the extortionate rise in the cost of parking will be bad for Oswestry. The Green town council are hiking parking charges without consulting voters or local businesses.
As we recover from the effects of the pandemic, we need to focus on building back better in Oswestry. That means attracting more shoppers and visitors to boost the local economy - not putting them off. It also means creating jobs and investing in public services So we are asking for peoples help by filling in our survey, you can tell us your priorities so together we can address your specific concerns."
